The region’s largest cider-tasting event features more than 20 cideries (and nearly 100 ciders) from across Washington and Oregon. You must be 21 or older to participate, but a carnival fun zone and drop-off center with supervised care makes it easy for parents to taste (and fun for the kids, too).
It’s not only about beer, but there sure is a lot of it at this authentic family-friendly Oktoberfest celebration featuring German beer, food and entertainment. From the opening-night tapping of the firkin (beer keg) to a 5K that swaps out hydration stations for beer fill-ups, it’s a jam-packed weekend of fun. All ages. Admission: Friday 12-3 p.m. free; Friday after 3 p.m. $12; Saturday $12; Sunday $6; Kids 12 and under free all weekend.
The fifth annual South Sound Craft Beer Festival will feature 40+ Washington breweries pouring more than 150 craft beers. Washington IPA and seasonal beers are the stars of this indoor show. Admission includes a commemorative tasting glass and six tastes.
